    Rafindadi heads needs assessment c’ttee for establishment of Moniepoint Hub in ABU

    Prof Aliyu Sanusi Rafindadi will now lead a six-member committee on needs assessment for the establishment of Moniepoint Hub in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

    A statement from the public affairs directorate office of the VC said this followed his appointment by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Adamu Ahmed, to chair the committee.

    Rafindadi is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Advancement, Research and Innovation.

    Specifically, the committee was constituted for the establishment of the Moniepoint Inc., Tosin Eniolorunda Foundation Hub in ABU.

    It is to review the memorandum of understanding (MoU) and make recommendations for the successful take-off of the hub.

    The committee is also expected to make appropriate recommendations on the proposed site as well as the level of commitment of the university in line with the MoU.

    Furthermore, they are to advise the university management on appropriate steps to ensure full benefits of the hub to staff and students of the institution.

    Equally, it will review sustainable programmes, units, and departments that would positively impact the hub, in addition to making any other recommendations that would enhance the hub’s success.

    The committee consists of the following members: Prof M.I Umar-Buratai, Director, Directorate of Advancement and International Education; and Prof Hadiza Tukur, Director, Counseling and Human Development Centre.

    Others are Prof J. B. Sahalu, Dean of Students; Prof J J Maina, Director, Research and Innovation; and Musa Aliu, Principal Assistant Registrar and Ag. Special Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor, who will serve as Secretary.
