The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D, GCON, received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Nigeria, H.E. Yousef bin Mohammed Al-Balawi, at his office.
A statement from the office of the Speaker,said their discussion centred on strengthening the long-standing relationship between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, particularly in education, diplomacy, and economic cooperation.
Speaker Abbas used the opportunity to call for expanded scholarship opportunities for Nigerians through members of Parliament to reach more people at the grassroots.
The Speaker extended Nigeria’s appreciation to Saudi Arabia for its decades of support in education and human capital development. He sought for stronger bilateral ties for the mutual benefit of the two nations.
