The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has secured official approval and operational licences from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health for its clinics and medical outposts established to serve Nigerian pilgrims during the 2026 Hajj exercise.

A statement from the commission said the licences, received on Monday, 11th May 2026, authorise the Commission’s medical teams to commence healthcare services for pilgrims in the Kingdom.

As part of NAHCON’s healthcare delivery arrangements for the Hajj season, the clinics and medical outposts have been strategically established to provide primary healthcare services, including medical consultations, first aid, and treatment of minor ailments for Nigerian pilgrims.

In line with operational guidelines, pilgrims seeking medical attention at NAHCON clinics are required to present their Nusuk Card and International Passport for identification and treatment documentation.

Pilgrims requiring specialised or secondary healthcare services will be referred to accredited Saudi medical facilities, including King Fahd Hospital and other designated hospitals within the Kingdom.

NAHCON also confirmed that its Madinah Clinic has been fully operational for the past four days, providing medical support and healthcare services to Nigerian pilgrims currently in the city.

    The licensed NAHCON clinics include:

    1. NAHCON Clinic, Shara Sittin Area, Makkah

Located at Hotel Humaira, Umm Al-Qura Street, Near Old Al-Maatani Petrol Station, Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

    2. NAHCON Clinic Misfalah, Al-Tadwa Area, Makkah

Located at Maatouq Al Qarhi Hotel, Behind Millennium Hotel, Ibrahim Khalil Street, Al-Tadwa, Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

    3. NAHCON Clinic, Mansour Street Area, Makkah    Located at Niger House No. 1, Behind Muasasat Alnaqd, Mansour Street, Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The licensing of the facilities marks another significant milestone in NAHCON’s 2026 Hajj operations and underscores the Commission’s commitment to safeguarding the health, safety, and wellbeing of Nigerian pilgrims throughout their stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
