The management of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has held a strategic meeting with representatives of Flynas Airline Company and officials of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), ahead of the commencement of the 2026 Hajj inaugural flight scheduled for 13th May.
A statement signed by the board public relations officer Ibrahim Datti said the meeting was attended by the NAHCON Zonal Coordinator, Malam Yusuf Balele, alongside his team, and representatives of Flynas Airline Company, the airline officially allocated to transport Kaduna State intending pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
Speaking during the meeting, the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, expressed appreciation to NAHCON and Flynas for their commitment towards ensuring a smooth and hitch-free Hajj operation.
He emphasized the agency’s readiness to work closely with all stakeholders to guarantee the comfort, safety, and timely transportation of all intending pilgrims from the state.
Malam Salihu further assured that adequate preparations have been put in place to ensure the successful airlift of pilgrims and urged all intending pilgrims to comply with the guidelines and schedules provided by the agency.
The meeting also focused on flight arrangements, pilgrims’ welfare, luggage handling, documentation, and other logistics necessary for the successful commencement of the Hajj operations.
