The Chairman of Senator Abdulaziz Yari Political Organization in Zamfara State, Hon. Lawal M. Liman, PhD (Gabdon Kaura), has expressed appreciation over the appointment of Former Zamfara State Governor and Senator representing Zamfara West, Alhaji (Dr) Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Marafan Sokoto) as the Director General of the Presidential Campaign.
This was contained in a statement signed by Hon Ibrahim Muhammad, (Danmadamin Birnin Magaji), chairman publicity committee issued to newsmen.
It said Dr. Liman M Liman who is also currently the Chairman Governing Council of Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Zaria, Shika, Kaduna State described the appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as a wise and timely decision that further proves the President to be a genuine democrat.
According to him, President Tinubu has chosen a man with proven integrity, political sagacity, and a track record of service to both party and nation.
“Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar is a true party man whose expertise in Party administration, political organization and election management is second to none in the whole country”, Dr. Liman maintained.
“He started his political career as State Secretary of the party, rose to become State Chairman, served as a National Officer, and governed Zamfara State for two terms. He also served as Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum , arguably the most successful in the history of our country.”
Dr. Liman further revealed that as a major stakeholder, the newly appointed Director – General was a leading light in the then ANPP who spearheaded the merger of other mega parties in a well managed convention in Gusau, Zamfara State Capital in 2014 which culminated into the formation of the All Progressives Congress, APC that saw the emergence of Late Muhammadu Buhari as its flag bearer in the 2015 General Elections which it successfully won.
He said with that wealth of experience in grassroots mobilization, party management, and national politics, Senator Yari deserves the appointment as Presidential Campaign Director General.
“This appointment is not only a reward for loyalty and competence, but also a strategic move that will guarantee victory for the party in the coming elections In shaa Allah.Senator Yari has the capacity, network, and political will to deliver,” he added.
Dr. Liman, on behalf of the Senator Abdulaziz Yari Political Organization, congratulated Senator Yari and assured President Tinubu of total support and commitment to ensure a successful campaign.
