The Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC Zamfara State Hon. Kabiru Moyi Birnin Magaji has described the appointment of Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Marafan Sokoto) and Hon. Minister of State Defense, HE Alh. Bello Mohammed Matawallen Maradun MON (Shattiman Sokoto) as Director General and Deputy Director, Security and Intelligence in the 2027 Presidential Campaign Council respectively as good omen to the party in the build up to upcoming general elections.
Reacting to the appointment duly signed and released by the Hon. Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, Mister Bayo Onanuga dated August 22, 2026, the Chairman disclosed that “it was with gratitude to God and appreciation to Mr. President that we received the good news of the appointment of these two honorable gentlemen of Zamfara State APC into the Council”, adding that their wealth of experience would surely come to bear on the exercise In Shaa Allah.
A statement signed by Hon. Ibrahim Muhammad (Ɗanmadamin Birnin Magaji), Publicity Secretary, APC Zamfara State said the Chairman said that the entire APC Zamfara State family has total confidence that the active involvement of Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar and Honorable Minister Bello Mohammed Matawallen Maradun will not only pave way for the success of Mr. President but also all the other APC Candidates in Zamfara State.
He explained that with His Excellency, Dr. Dauda Lawal in the saddle as Executive Governor of Zamfara State and the two positions in the Presidential Campaign Council, APC would In Shaa Allah continue to triumph in all ramifications.
