The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Education, Zaria, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, has received some of his former coursemates from the Master’s programme in Science Education at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
A statement signed by Sani Lawal Maqarphy Media aide to the VC said the coursemates, who paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, were led by Prof. Abdurrahman Mahmud, Director, NCE Part-Time Programmes of the University.
Other members were Mrs. Rahila Nana L. Afiyong; Mrs. Christiana Ayuba Tabitha; Dr Zainab M. Shuaibu of the National Teachers’ Institute, Kaduna; and Dr Ibrahim Sani, also of the National Teachers’ Institute, Kaduna.
The former coursemates visited the Vice-Chancellor to reconnect with him and congratulate him on his appointment as Vice-Chancellor of the University.
Prof. Bunkure thanked the delegation for the visit and expressed appreciation for their continued goodwill and support.
He shared with them his commitments to advancing the University’s development and realising his vision of building a world-class institution.
