The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Education, Zaria, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, has congratulated (Dr) Munir Ahmad on his appointment as Director, Public Private Partnership at the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI).
A statement signed by Sani Lawal Maqarphy media aide to the VC said the appointment came after he completed his tenure as Registrar of the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, now upgraded to the Federal University of Mining and Technology.
Prof. Bunkure noted that the newly appointed Director had also served as Special Adviser to the Honourable Federal Commissioner during his one-year sabbatical leave.
The new Director, (Dr) Munir Ahmad was a former Academic Secretary of the erstwhile Federal College of Education, Zaria, now Federal University of Education, Zaria.
Prof. Bunkure described the appointment as a recognition of Ahmad’s experience and service in the public sector.
The Vice-Chancellor said the Directorate of Public Private Partnership plays an important role in fostering collaboration among government, the private sector and other stakeholders.
Prof. Bunkure wished the new Director, on behalf of Management, staff and students of the University, a successful tenure and prayed for wisdom and strength in the discharge of his new responsibilities.
