The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Zaria (FUE Zaria), Prof Yahaya Isa Bunkure, received in his office the former Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero.
This was contained in a statement signed by Sani Lawal Maqarphy, media aide to the VC made available to newsmen.

It said Dr Yero was at the Vice-Chancellor’s office on an official visit and as an invited guest of the International Academia Connect, where he serves as an Adviser, to attend a programme held at the University. He was accompanied by members of the organisation.

During the visit, Dr Yero expressed his well wishes to the Vice-Chancellor and the University, while commending the institution’s development and progress.
Responding, Prof. Bunkure expressed appreciation to the former Governor for the visit.
He noted that the University is deliberate in engaging and liaising with relevant stakeholders to foster meaningful partnerships and strengthen support for its growth and development.
The Vice-Chancellor received the august visitor alongside the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof Kabiru Haruna Danja and Registrar, Shehu Iya Sa’idu among other senior officials of the University.
