The Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Prof. Adamu Ahmed, has paid a tour visit to the Zainab Shamsuna MRI Suite at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria.
During the visit, Prof. Ahmed inspected the facilities and commended the management of ABUTH for advancing diagnostic and research capacity in the hospital.
A statement signed by the Haruna Ibrahim head information and public relations unit of the hospital said the VC reiterated the University’s commitment to supporting specialized medical services that will improve patient care and strengthen research output.
The Chief Medical Director of ABUTH, Prof. Ahmed Hamidu Umdagas, expressed appreciation for the Vice Chancellor’s support. He stated, “With this facility and the backing of the University, ABUTH will continue to lead in providing specialized, patient-centered care while contributing to global data that reflects the health needs of Africans.
The visit highlights ABU’s determination to ensure that Nigerian Teaching Hospitals do not wait for solutions, but providethem.
