The Executive Chairman of Zaria Local Government, Engr.Jamil Ahmad Muhammad, has participated in a series of community engagements, reflecting his continued commitment to unity, compassion, and social responsibility.
The Chairman had the honor of serving as Waleey during the wedding of Fatiha of Fatima Aliyu, daughter of Mai Nago, who was joined in matrimony with Ibrahim Aliyu. The solemnization took place at Masallacin Malam Yahaya in Tudun Wada, Zaria.
In continuation of the day’s activities, Engr. Jamil Ahmad attended several other wedding Fatiha ceremonies, celebrating with families and well-wishers as they embarked on new chapters of their lives. These included:

• Zulyadaini Abubakar (Yasalam) & Aisha Sani (Ummu Ayman) at Khadija Iyande Masjid, Gangaren Kwadi, Tudun Wada, Zaria
• Musa Adam Musa & Fatima Nura Umar (daughter of Ibrahim Mai Kwai) at Layin Sarki, Tudun Wada, Zaria
• Ibrahim Muhammad Yakubu (S.A Protocol to the Council Secretary) & Zulaihat Adam (Muhibbat) at Gidan Malamai Alfaradarai, Zaria City
Engr Jaga offered prayers for all newlyweds, asking Allah (SWT) to bless their unions with peace, love, and lasting prosperity
In the spirit of empathy and solidarity, Engr. Jamil Ahmad also paid condolence visits to bereaved families. He visited the family of the late Malam Sani Dangwari in Unguwar Malamai, Gyallesu Ward, as well as the family of the late mother of Hon. Tukur Kakeyi in Kakeyi Village, Dambo Ward. Prayers were offered for the repose of the departed souls, asking Allah (SWT) to forgive their shortcomings and grant them Jannatul Firdaus.
