The nomination of Murtala Sulengaro to the state House of Assembly is a clear testimony that Governor Abba Kabir Yusif is a respecter of the majority public opinion.

The crisis that engulfed the nomination of new Deputy Governor is a testimony of the Governor’s dedication of endorsing the majority opinion despite all the misunderstandings from various rival sections of the Party in the state.

The amount of pressure from the above, nobody thinks the Governor can get the gut to accept the majority choice and ignore the powerful nominators of the others with less public endorsement.

The love of the majority of Kano people to Murtala Sulengaro and seriously countered by rival factions with demonstrators from all corners is indicating the density of his support in Kano State.

Nominating Murtala Sulengaro as new Deputy Governor to the State House of Asset is probing AKY as a bold and strong leader respecting majority opinion. Organizing demonstrations from regional areas was aimed at disrupting the decision of His Excellency to meet their demands.

Political interest from the above is different from what local people demand at the grassroots. We need our political leaders to take note of this dimension.

The powerful wind was aimed at pressuring the government to reverse the majority recommendation of APC stakeholders where almost 90% supported Murtala Sulengaro but strong Gladiators started kicking against the majority decision.

The nomination encounter is a strong reminder to the Governor and his Deputy to cooperate and work together to serve the interests of the Kano people while at the same time ignoring the political selfishness of some leaders.

The interest and determination of Kano is your prime concern not selfish political targets of some leaders so leading in this direction will save you to success.

    KANO FIRST IS OUR CONCERN.
