The Zaria Local Government Pilgrims Registration Centre in Kaduna State has conducted a Hajj practical exercise as part of its ongoing public enlightenment programme (Bita), which has now entered its 12th week.
A statement signed by the public relations officer of the board Ibrahim Datti Makarfi said the exercise forms part of a statewide initiative taking place across the 23 Local Government Areas and the headquarters of the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency.
The programme is designed to educate, enlighten, and adequately prepare intending pilgrims for the spiritual and practical aspects of Hajj.
The session in Zaria was led by the Director of Public Enlightenment of the Agency, Malam Abubakar Alhassan, alongside the Local Registration Officer for Zaria Local Government, Hajiya Hauwa Musa Sidi.
The Bita programme continues to serve as an essential platform for guiding intending pilgrims on proper Hajj rites and procedures, ensuring they are well informed ahead of the pilgrimage.
